Arvind Kejriwal, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party, expressed his support for his colleague Sanjay Singh after Singh’s home was searched this morning in relation to the Delhi liquor policy case. The Delhi Chief Minister stated that despite “more than 1,000 raids,” not “a single penny” of illegally acquired money had been found.

Kejriwal also criticized the ruling party, without explicitly naming the BJP, and accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s party of making “desperate attempts” to undermine their rivals before the upcoming general election next year. “We have been witnessing for the past year… there have been allegations of a liquor scam. Despite over 1000 raids, not a single penny was recovered,” remarked Kejriwal.
