Bihar Politics: JD(U) Dissolves Alliance as Nitish Kumar Makes a Comeback to BJP-Led Fold.
Janata Dal (United) president Nitish Kumar, for the ninth time, took oath as Bihar Chief Minister, rejoining the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance just 18 months after his departure. With six Ministers and two Deputy Chief Ministers from the BJP sworn in, Mr. Kumar emphasized that his move was for the ‘interest of Bihar.’ While the BJP cited the renewed alliance for Bihar’s development, the Rashtriya Janata Dal declared, “The game is not over yet,” anticipating JD(U)’s party fate.
