The National Investigation Agency (NIA) detained a 51-year-old man from the Churachandpur hill district on Saturday in connection with a transnational plot by terror groups with headquarters in Bangladesh and Myanmar to “wage war” against the Indian government by taking advantage of the ongoing ethnic unrest in Manipur.
Seiminlun Gangte has been named as the suspect. On July 19 in New Delhi, the NIA suo moto filed the case.
